Turck employees support children's hospice service
Employees and runners from the Turck Group made a donation to a charitable cause again this year at the Halver location as part of the AOK company run. The donation will go towards supporting children from the region once again this year. The executive board matched the money raised by the employees, allowing us to donate a total of €2,160 to Sterntreppe, a children’s hospice in Hagen, Germany.
Taking part in the company run is free for Turck employees, and 133 of our colleagues entered the race this year. All additional costs towards the registration fee, shirts and travel costs, for example, were covered by management.
We were able to raise a total of €8,800 in the past few years, which we donated to SOS-Kinderdorf, the ‘Die Muschel’ grief recovery support group run by humanitarian organisation Die Johanniter as well as a family house for children suffering from cancer in Bonn, Germany.
